Spring Break is here again, and if you’re like most parents, it has you a little worried.

The kids will be out of school and their time unoccupied – what can you do to keep them entertained?

Fortunately, Schertz is brimming with fun spring break camps, activities and programs. From dance and swimming to art and nature, there’s something for every age and interest here.


The Schertz Family YMCA will host day camp for kids ages 5 through 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 pm. March 12-16. Activities will include arts and crafts, athletics, games and more. The cost is $85 for members and $105 for non-members. Register here.

Spring Break Fun Days

Aerial Athletics will host its annual Spring Break Fun days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 12-16. Activities include gymnastics, inflatables, arts and crafts, ninja games and more. Morning, afternoon, full-day and single day sessions are available. The camp is open to ages 3 and up. Cost ranges from $25 for a half-day single session to $170 for a full-day, all-week sessions. Music and Movies in the Park

Let the kids take in some culture at the city’s annual Music and Movies in the Park series. Catch Ravenmoor, a traditional Celtic band, play from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. March 17 at Pickrell Park. There will also be kid-friendly activities and concessions. Call 210.619.1850 for more information.

Love to Swim Camp

Have any athletic little one? Then this is the camp for you. The Love to Swim School is offering a Spring Break swimming camp from March 12-16 at its Schertz location, 6033 FM 30009. Call 210.566.4096 to learn more or to register.

Spring Break Art Camp

Color Clay will host a Spring Break Art Camp from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. March 12-16. Kids will get to make their own pottery pieces, as well as draw, paint and create one-of-a-kind works of art. Cost is $125 per student. Learn more or register at MyArtStarz.com.

Sippel Elementary Spring Break Camp

The perfect all-day care solution for working parents, the Sippel Elementary Spring Break Camp offers school-aged kids a fun, safe spring break solution. Students will take part in daily activities and trips.

Outdoor Adventure Spring Break Camp

The Cibolo Nature Center will host its annual Outdoor Adventure Spring Break Camp on March 12, 13 and 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will include fishing, hiking, crafts, tie-dying, s’more making and more. Under the Sea Dance Camp

Take dancing to a whole new level with fun, sea-themed props, costumes, crafts and music at Dance by Design’s Under the Sea Dance Camp. The camp will take place March 12-16 from 9 a.m. to noon and is open to dancers ages 3 to 7. Cost is $100 per student. Learn more at DancebyDesignStudios.com.
